We collect minimal information needed to deliver and support our Services. The types of information we collect depend on how you interact with us:

1.1. Subscription and Account Information:

  • When you purchase a subscription or license, we collect your email address and payment-related information necessary to process and manage your subscription.

  • This data is used solely for billing, account management, and customer support.

1.2. Usage Data:

  • Our Apps do not collect personal health information or store in-app usage metrics on our servers.

  • Any usage data that may exist is limited to anonymized, non-identifiable performance data used internally for quality control or troubleshooting.

1.3. Device Information (if applicable):

  • Some device-level analytics (such as headset model, operating system version, or error logs) may be available through platform providers (e.g., Meta, HTC, Pico) but are not directly collected by AVRwell.

  • We may have access to aggregated platform analytics provided by the device manufacturer or MDM (Mobile Device Management) partner.

1.4. Customer Support Communications:

  • If you contact us for support, we may retain the communication for reference and follow-up.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and manage your subscription or license.

  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.

  • Improve our Apps and Services based on anonymous, aggregated feedback.

  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or behavioral tracking.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

AVRwell does not sell your personal information.

We may share limited data with trusted service providers solely to facilitate:

  • Subscription management.

  • Customer support.

  • Device management (e.g., through MDM platforms like ArborXR or ManageXR, if you opt in).

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the agreed purposes.

Please note that your device manufacturer (e.g., Meta, HTC, Pico) may collect its own data according to their privacy policies. AVRwell does not control or govern their data collection practices.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain only the data necessary to manage your account and fulfill legal obligations.

If you wish to delete your account or request data deletion, please email support@avrwell.com with the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”.

We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe, subject to applicable laws.

5. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

No system can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Apps are intended for use under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals and are not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent.

7. International Users

AVRwell is based in the United States. By using our Services, you consent to your information being transferred and processed in the United States and other locations where we or our service providers operate.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App, by email, or on our website. Your continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
